What are the documents required for the DeeMoney registration process?
For Thai Nationals
- Thai ID Card (front and back)
- Name change certificate (if any)
For Non-Thai Nationals with e-Passport (NFC embedded)*
- Original passport
For Non-Thai Nationals with Non e-Passport (without NFC embedded)
- Original passport
And one of this following documents
- Work permit (front and back)
- Valid Visa
- A Government-issued ID from your home country (front & back)
- A Government-issued ID from Thai Government i.e., Thai Driving licence, Pink Card (front & back)
*NFC is a chip present in most passports or other identity documents. You can find the NFC chip on the bottom of your passport cover.
What is the maximum and minimum transfer?
Maximum transfer per transaction: 800,000 THB*
Minimum transfer per transaction: 1,000 THB
*This amount may vary depending on the destination country.
How long will the registration take?
After we receive all necessary documents, our compliance team will take 1 - 3 working days to review and finalise your registration.

Do you need a long-term Non-Immigrant or Permanent Resident visa? Or is a tourist one sufficient?
Unlike Thai local banks, DeeMoney doesn’t require you to have any particular visa status. You can become a DeeMoney Member if you’re visiting Thailand for ten days or ten years. DeeMoney does not require you to have a work permit, but you can use one as your single form of identification if you wish.
